Because it is somewhat somewhat off the main drag, so Treat Street, strictly speaking, is not really part of the Mission scene. Without the sardine-like crowd effect you get in other bars, this place is indeed a treat to visit. You can easily get a drink, and just as easily carry on a conversation. Check out the tropical island motif in the back room. It is a sure conversation starter if you need one and just plain fun if you do not.
